He's a big camera nut himself, was an semi-old one of his that he wasn't using anymore. So I promised myself that I would start getting back into taking photos again, and took it along last sunday on a tour of the ESB Turlough Hill Power station in Wicklow. Ended up being a pretty good chioce to use it then.
After the tour, we were then hiking from Turlough Hill to Glendalough. On the way we came across two herds of deer at 3 different spots. The first time we were so far off I couldn't get a single decent shot after taking literally 20-30 pictures.
Second time was the same herd, after they had run off earlier we came across them again, much closer, around the corner of a hill, got a good few shots of them there.
Third time was as we were going up the board walk along the right mountain of Glendalough, and we were really close then. Also managed to get a picture of a Stag, unfortunately it ended up being a very blurred photo.
Aside from that, I think I took about 80+ pictures on the day, most of which were fairly poor but I managed to get some fairly nice ones too. I'll be uploading the better ones a.s.a.p
For those few who might be actually reading this, comment away on the photos, I'm willing to hear anything that would help me improve,
Dave.
